The lab is equipped with 2000+ channels, 100+ environmnetal chambers, a fleet of mechanical and thermal-related reliability and safety test equipments, and many more. Feel free to reach out to us to learn more about our equipments and capabilities!
Our Zeiss micro-CT station is now up and running! Our micro-CT station is capable of inspecting micrometer-scale defects, such as solderjoint cracks in PCB boards, jelly roll deformation and delamination in batteries and many more. Feel free to reach out to us to learn more about our CT capabilities.
Our liquid chromatography (LC) station is now up and running! Our LC station is equiped with 3 different detection modes: Quadrupole time-of-flight (QTOF) mass spectropy that has ultra-high sensitivity and selectivity to detect molecules down to parts per billion, as well as Diode-Array Detection (DAD) and Fluorescence Detection (FLD) that are capable of detecting aromatic and fluorescence molecules. Our LC station is a powerful tool for examining traces of organic contaminants in electronics and consumer products. Feel free to reach out to us to learn more about our LC capabilities.
The long-awaited cryogenic dual beam FIB/SEM workstation is up and running! In addition to traditional uses of a field emission SEM, dual beam system allowed ion imaging and site-specific cross-sectional milling to support detailed microstructure analysis. The workstation is also equipped with Easylift manipulator, AztecLive Ultim EDS and CMOS Symmetry EBSD from Oxford, cryogenic stage and preparation chamber and vacuum transfer system.
Dr. Jack Zhou gave a presentation at 13th Annual Conference of China Scientific Instrument. During the presentation, Dr. Zhou shared his insight on the current market demand, technical challenges, and future opportunities related to the failure analysis service for lithium ion batteries.
CarlBerk’s central analytical lab is open now. The lab is equipped with advanced analytical instruments and sample preparation facilities that have a total value of more than $2 million dollars. Benefited from in-house experimental facilities, we are ready to take more challenging work and continue to bring high quality service.
